Causes

When GameGuard was established in 2003, Founders Craig & Stacey Smith knew that, regardless of how much success came their way, they wanted to remain faithful to give generously to those in need. Over a decade later, this call is at the heart of what we do. While our giving has historically been set aside as a private activity, we're now taking efforts to give generously of another resource: Our Voice.

GameGuard has been fortunate to reach faithful fans and followers across the nation with our love of the outdoors, and now, we're sharing our love for people and the opportunity to help those in need. Below is a list of causes that we believe are making a difference. We have been blessed to give to these organizations, and we encourage you to do the same.

Grace House India

Grace House India is a Christ-centered non-profit home that provides sanctuary and full-time care to some of rural India's most vulnerable girls — girls who have experienced unspeakable violence, abuse, poverty, and loss of family.
Through education, healthcare, emotional support, vocational training, and spiritual guidance, we aim to provide a stable and loving home. At Grace House, young girls can heal from their past traumas and develop the skills, values, spiritual foundation, and positive relationships to help carry them to a brighter future where their joy, happiness, love, and faith will one day lift others.
It doesn't matter to us where they began, only where they end. We want to educate them to encourage them to dream. We want to continue their educations as far as they can go. For some, this will be vocational training; for others, a two-year college; and for some, medical school. We want them to realize their potential as daughters of the King. Our goal is not to house these girls indefinitely but rather raise them up to leave us and become leaders in their communities. To return to others the blessings they have received at Grace House India. We want each of these girls to grow into women who will significantly impact the Kingdom.

Amy Selkirk Breast Cancer Research Fund

In January 2011, Amy Selkirk was a 38-year-old healthy wife and mother, a nurse practitioner who had temporarily "retired" from her professional work to raise her small children, ages 2 and 7. That month, only weeks after a clean mammogram report, Amy found a lump in her breast. Her discovery led to the diagnosis of a rapidly growing, aggressive breast cancer defined as TNBC. Chemotherapy given before surgery proved ineffective; Amy's course of treatment continued with a mastectomy and chest wall radiation.

Throughout the summer of 2011, Amy continued to fight her disease with the faith, knowledge and encouragement given to her by Dr. O'Shaughnessy, her oncologist. In spite of all treatments, Amy's cancer spread to her lungs, liver, and bones, and sadly, Amy lost her battle with breast cancer a year after her initial diagnosis.

In Amy's honor and memory, a fund for advancing breast cancer research has been established at Baylor Health Care System Foundation: the Amy Selkirk Breast Cancer Research Fund.

Texas Wildfire Relief

At the beginning of 2024, the Texas Panhandle was devastated by the worst wildfires in the state's history. As a Texas brand, we felt the impact of these horrible fires and the pain within the Texas community. While the panhandle rebuilds amidst over 1 million acres of burned land, we invite you to join us in prayer and support for one of the most pivotal regions in the Lone Star State. Join us as we work together to rebuild the great Panhandle region by donating to First Baptist Canadian.
