Over the past few days, our Texas community has endured immense pain, chaos, and heartbreak amidst the flooding of the Guadalupe River. Over 100 people have died, many more are lost, injured, and suffering. Many throughout Texas and the United States are looking for ways to support and assist the communities impacted by these floods.
Despite the undeniable pain of families, friends, and communities throughout the United States, we know that God is where we must turn first and foremost. We know God to be a God of comfort, and the pain caused by these floods shall never wash away God's goodness. We encourage all to pray for the people who are enduring loss, who are grieving, and who need help.
As a Texas brand with a deep connection with many impacted by this tragedy, we will continue to walk alongside all communities affected on the road to recovery. While it may feel daunting to some who want to support, we encourage anyone reading to consider giving to the following organizations:
- Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country
- Trinity Baptist Church
- Southern Oaks Church
- Samartian's Purse
- HEB - Spirit of Giving Fund
Every dollar provided to these organizations will impact recovery efforts, support teams in the area assisting victims, and rebuild the area. Many of these organizations also provide opportunities and connections to volunteer. We support those involved in these organizations and hope you will, too.
To all the people and communities impacted, you are not alone. We are honored to stand beside you, support you, and assist as you mourn, recover, and rebuild.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kind message and for keeping our community in your thoughts and prayers. We’re absolutely heartbroken right now, but the support and hope you’ve shared truly means the world to us. It’s hard to put into words how much it matters—you’ve made a real difference. We feel embraced, supported, and lifted up. Even in the middle of all this chaos, we’re holding on to hope. We will find those who are missing, and we will rebuild. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
